General Questions
How do I register for a class?

You can register online through our website by selecting your course and completing the enrollment form. Payment is made at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also register in person at our office.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. For in-office registrations, we also accept cash (exact change) and checks.

Our classroom is located at Agricenter International, Wing C. Our address is 7777 Walnut Grove Rd., Memphis, TN 38120. Driving lessons begin and end from this location.

You can call us at (901) 755-6777 during business hours or email us anytime. We’re happy to assist with scheduling, registration, or course information.

Students should bring:

● A pen and notebook
● A light jacket (classrooms can be chilly)
● A cold sack lunch, drinks, and snacks

Yes. As a Cooperative Driver Testing Program Agency, we are authorized to administer the Tennessee State Road Test once students complete their Defensive Driving Course requirements.

No. As of December 29, 2017, the Knowledge Test must be taken at the DMV.

No, we no longer offer manual transmission lessons.

No, students must arrange their own transportation to our training facilities.

All instructors are certified by the Tennessee Department of Safety. Many have backgrounds in law enforcement, education, or professional driver training.

Federal law requires SSNs to be collected for professional licenses, driver’s licenses, and related records.

Driving lessons can begin after the completion of the classroom instruction and 2-hour simulator session.

Teen Programs
What’s the difference between the 36-hour and 40-hour teen courses?

Yes. We are authorized as a Cooperative Driver Testing Program school. Students can take their Road Test with us once they complete the program. (Note: students must be at least 15 ½ years old and hold a valid Learner’s Permit.)

Both courses include 30 hours of classroom instruction and a simulator session.

  • 36-hour course: 4 one-hour driving lessons
  • 40-hour course: 8 one-hour driving lessons

Exceptions: We cannot administer the Road Test for students participating in the Hardship Program or out-of-state students.

No. Our classes prepare students for the Knowledge Test to obtain their Learner’s Permit, which they’ll take at the DMV.

All driving times are scheduled online through our Student Portal. Login details are provided after registration.

Yes. Driving will continue unless weather conditions are unsafe. Please call us or visit our Facebook page to learn about closures.

Students must be at least 15 ½ years old and hold a valid Learner’s Permit to take the Road Test with us. Unlike the DMV, we are able to administer the Road Test regardless of how long the student has held their permit.

Yes, summer sessions are offered. Check the schedule online for availability.

Yes, but students must take the road test in their state of residence.

Make-up days are available. Contact us to reschedule. Missed classes will delay your driving appointments.

State law requires students to be at least 15 to begin driver training. A “pending letter” is required for 14-year-olds applying for a hardship license to attend driving school.
Adult Programs
Am I too old to take lessons?
No. Adults 19 and older are welcome to enroll in our 36- or 40-hour Defensive Driving Programs.
Yes. Private lessons are available year-round, starting at $237. Packages include simulator training and behind-the-wheel instruction. Additional lessons can be purchased individually.

Yes. A 2-hour Interstate Driving Lesson is available for $158.

  • 36-hour course: Ideal for students who already have some driving experience.
  • 40-hour course: Best for beginners or those who need additional behind-the-wheel practice.

Once you complete all course requirements, you may schedule your Road Test.

Private Lessons
How do private lessons work?

Private lessons are scheduled individually and include one-on-one instruction with a certified driving instructor. Packages start at $237.

Private Lessons begin with 3 Behind-the-Wheel appointments (1 simulator, 2 in-car instruction). Additional lessons can be added for $79 each. We also offer a 2-hour Interstate Driving Lesson for $158.

No. All private lessons begin and end at our training facility.

  • Absolutely. Our instructors are trained to work with nervous drivers, returning drivers, or those needing extra confidence behind the wheel.
Differential Driving Program
What is the Differential Driving Program?

It’s a specialized driver education program designed for neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other learning differences.

Teens and adults who benefit from smaller class sizes, personalized instruction, and a sensory-friendly learning environment.

The program includes classroom instruction, simulator training, and behind-the-wheel lessons, tailored to each student’s needs.

Students are evaluated throughout the course, and progress reports are shared with parents or guardians to track improvements and identify areas for extra practice.

Court-Ordered & Driver Improvement Classes
Are your classes court-approved?

Yes. Our 4-hour and 8-hour Driver Improvement Courses are fully court-approved and accepted across Tennessee.

Certificates are emailed directly to you within 48 hours of course completion. If required, you may upload your certificate to the Tennessee DL Portal or submit it to your court.

You’ll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access, plus a camera and microphone to participate fully.

Policies & Scheduling
Is there a fee for cancelling or missing a lesson?

We understand that things come up, and we do our best to work with students when schedules change. To keep classes and driving times running smoothly, please note:

  • Cancel with at least 48 hours notice: no charge.
  • Cancel with less than 48 hours notice: $53 fee.
  • No-shows: $79 fee.

If you experience an emergency or unforeseen situation, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate you.

Tuition can be paid online during registration. Private lesson scheduling requires a phone call after payment.
